Famous for the connection to the Beatles, St.Peter's Church in Woolton Village, Liverpool was the venue for Myra and Iain's intimate and emotional wedding at the beautiful and historic location. A wonderful couple to photograph it was an absolute pleasure to document their wedding service and to capture the family photos out in the surrounding grounds at St.Peter's.
We then made the short trip into Liverpool as the couple made their way for their wedding reception at the Racquet Club Hotel and Ziba Restaurant located within the Hargreaves Building. The building itself dates back to 1859 and one of the first features that strikes you are the tall, ornate doors at the main entrance to the club. With the weather set fair, Maya and Iain were kind enough to allow me to explore the surrounding area and to discover some unique backdrops and street settings for some creative bride and groom portraits.
Based in Cheshire I love the opportunity to shoot weddings and engagement shoots at city centre locations such as nearby Liverpool and Manchester and as you can see from Myra and Iain's wedding shoot the street setting can create a distinctive look to your images.
