With a busy summer ahead of Commercial and Wedding photography I chose to make the most of my Easter break with a short holiday in Paphos, Cyprus. Leaving my professional cameras at home I travelled light with my 'iPhone' as my only camera, an opportunity to take my photography back to basics without the additional equipment that I use for my professional photography.
The pictures posted here represent one particular afternoon spent walking around the beautiful old town, capturing colours, contrast and geometric compositions, elements that I often look for when photographing a wedding. Around about the time that I decided to head back to my hotel I noticed a newly married couple walking over a hill and down a path towards me .. well I couldn't resist and with their permission took a quick snap!
So I'm back to work, fully recharged and ready to go and I will always have these wonderful memories of this beautiful place and the people that I met during my personal iPhone photowalk.
