Brook Hall Hotel at Childer Thornton is a bit of a hidden gem! It proved to be the perfect setting for the wedding of Catherine and Chris when I documented their special day earlier in April this year and better still the Brook Hall Hotel is only a short 25-minute drive away from my hometown of Frodsham in Cheshire.
A recurring theme of my 2019 weddings so far seems to be outdoor weddings and I adore shooting an outdoor wedding as it creates a unique feel to the day. Catherine and Chris were a wonderfully relaxed and fun couple to photograph, I think that my favourite image is the one of Catherine dancing with her bridesmaids in her hotel room before the ceremony had even begun! I knew then that I was in for a fun day of wedding photography.
The ceremony itself took place in the Garden Pavilion which is surrounded by a beautiful and tranquil brook, the perfect setting for such an intimate wedding with close family and friends. The gardens to the rear of the hotel created the perfect backdrop for the formal photographs and for my photo session with the happy couple.
