Where do I start? Such a wonderful wedding to document at Birkenhead Town Hall last week. Samantha and Jason are just the most beautiful couple to photograph and along with their family and friends had a wedding day to remember .. laughter, tears and a HUGE surprise for one of Samantha's bridesmaids.
After a lovely, intimate service at Birkenhead Town Hall and a fun photo shoot with the newly married couple, we made the short trip across town for the reception, speeches and first dance. The first dance was also followed by an emotional father and daughter dance and after such a wonderful occasion Samantha and Jason had one final wedding day surprise.
Instead of throwing the bouquet, Samantha presented it to Sophie one of her bridesmaids and as you can see from the photographs at the same time Robert, Samantha's brother was preparing to propose to Sophie. It was amazing to watch this unfold and the look on Sophie's face .. I think it's fair to say that she really wasn't expecting this to happen. Did she say yes? Well I think the photographs tell their own story.
The perfect end to a perfect day and after a few tears and lots of hugs it was lovely to see everyone on the dance floor having a great time. With thanks again to Samantha and Jason and their family and friends for a warm welcome and a lovely day.
