Behind the scenes photo shoot at Errwood Hall, Peak District.

In my latest photo-film for the PK Photography blog you can enjoy the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes on a photo shoot with the talented team from Boho Lane Photography in Cheshire. I love Gemma and Andy's photography style so this proved a wonderful excuse to meet them both in person and to see them in action.

I was kindly invited to record this shoot at Errwood Hall Ruins in the Peak District by Rebecca from Pretty Creative and Becky from Gypsy Rose Vintage. Errwood Hall proved to be the perfect fusion of location and style with Gemma and Andy the ideal photographers to make the most of the shoot featuring two beautiful models Sam and Jen.

The historic Errwood Hall dates back to around the 1830s and the ruins provided many interesting backdrops and photographic opportunities enhanced by the gorgeous 'golden hour' sunlight. One tip though .. if you fancy exploring the area late in the day then I would recommend long sleeves and insect repellent!

As with the Thornton Manor shoot previously featured, these shoots often involve many contributors from within the wedding industry. For this shoot make up was provided by Ruby Slippers make-up and hair, dresses from Felicity Cooper Bridal and flowers from Living Colour Floral Design. In fact if you love what you see then please watch the photo-film to the end where you can view a full list of contributors along with their web site address.

As with my photo-films produced for my wedding clients, I wanted to create a film that has a look and feel to it which matched the setting and the style of the shoot. Those of you who follow my blog will know just how vital a role music plays in my photo-film productions, in fact I often choose the track first before laying down the visuals, this helps me to set the right pace to my final edit.

I must say a huge 'thank you' to the team, Rebecca, Becky, Gemma, Andy, Sam & Jen and everyone else involved, I really enjoyed the opportunity to record the shoot and love this the reaction from Boho Lane Photography who wrote on Facebook '..OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is awesome!!!!..'

.. I'll take that.
